Scalamobil

Scalamobil is a mobile stair assistive device designed specifically for manual wheelchair users. It connects via a dedicated bracket to most common wheelchairs, nursing wheelchairs, and some narrow or child wheelchairs. Users can sit comfortably in their wheelchairs while a trained operator controls the device from behind to move up and down stairs, reducing the inconvenience and risks associated with transferring seats. The large wheels of the wheelchair need to be removed before actually moving up and down stairs.
