Electric wheelchair booster
e-motion replaces the large wheels of a manual wheelchair with a pair of drive wheels that have built-in motors and lithium batteries. Users still control direction, forward movement, and deceleration by pushing the wheel rims, and each push is amplified by electric power.

e-motion detects the direction and force of the user's push, and then provides corresponding assistance from the motors in the left and right wheels respectively. The user can still move forward, backward, turn and slow down as if operating a regular manual wheelchair, but the required force is significantly reduced.
